BAWO'S NEW SINGLE? C'EST 'MAGNIFIQUE'!

Bawo is joined by Jordy for a new track packed with tantalising wordplay and exquisite melodies.

Arriving via Bawo's 'Say Nothing Records', we have a new offering from a creative who seems to improve year-by-year. With his excellent last project, 'Legitimate Cause', dropping at the start of 2023, 'Magnifique' feels like it could be ushering in a new era for Bawo.

Meandering piano keys and artful backing vocals create a compelling mise en scène for Bawo’s typically insightful, stream-of-consciousness raps. The song’s melodic chorus communicates a sense of longing for better days and depicts an unyielding resolve to stay the course when navigating life’s hurdles. Essex rapper Jordy ignites with a highly quotable guest verse, exhibiting his flair for delivering bars that are equally humorous and headstrong.

After features with a variety of contemporaries, from Oscar #Worldpeace to Ashbeck, Deema and Sam Wise, to ATRIP, Bawo now seemed poised to reach new heights with his solo work.

Speaking on the new phase, Bawo shares:
