Spring will see the launch of an entirely new festival taking place in Sheffield. Bounded Festival is set to take place on Sunday 4th May on bank holiday weekend at Kelham Island’s Steelyard.
Steelyard is Sheffield’s largest outdoor event space, created from old shipping containers. Think of the Shipping Yard stage at Teletech Festival, only on a much bigger scale. One thing Steelyard offers is versatility; not only is it an events space, it is also a vibrant retail hub, bringing together a mix of independent businesses in a unique environment such as a bistro, yoga studio and tattoo studio.
Bounded Festival will be home to multiple stages and subgenres of dance music, with the main stage hosted by Tribal Warehouse playing house music, and other stages for speed garage and drum & bass for example. The lineup is not out yet but this will be launching very soon, you can keep up to date with news on this via the Bounded Festival Instagram page.
The festival will be a day event, from 2pm until 11pm and will see over 45+ DJs take to the decks, alongside an array of entertainment and street food vendors. With over a 2,500-person capacity, Bounded hope to fill the space with ravers to dance all day long and celebrate local talent and beyond.
Tickets are available to purchase now, with over 400 sold since they went on sale on Wednesday, limited £5 presale tickets remain, get yours here.
