Broken Planet is set to launch its first drop of the summer, the much-anticipated 'Falling Stars' collection, on Sunday, June 2nd at 8 PM, promising a blend of innovative new pieces and iconic Broken Planet designs.
2024 has been a monumental year for Broken Planet, as they’ve firmly established themselves as a key player in global streetwear culture with their limited releases. Their previous capsule collections—‘Out of Service,’ ‘Broken Hearts,’ and their largest release to date, ‘Space Trails’—sold out at lightning speed, showcasing some of their most inventive designs. Their collaboration with D-Block Europe not only expanded their reach but also helped secure a number-one album in the official UK charts for D-Block Europe.
The 'Falling Stars' collection showcases Broken Planet’s continued ingenuity, introducing a long-awaited selection of black denim jeans, jorts, and a jacket. Building on the momentum from their 'Space Trails' drop, which marked their first foray into womenswear, the summer range includes a matching NFL bikini, top, and skirt. This expansion into womenswear reflects the mission of female co-founder Indrė Narbutaitė, who aims to infuse exciting and unique takes on women's fashion into the Broken Planet lineup.
Additionally, 'Falling Stars' will feature Broken Planet’s first mesh jersey and matching shorts, alongside signature Broken Planet pieces that highlight their iconic graphic-heavy, typography-centric designs.
To celebrate the collection and its roots, the lookbook was shot in London, the birthplace of the brand, capturing the essence of summer in the UK capital.
