PRIDE

Brighton & Hove Pride is back and better than ever, bringing its brash, beautiful, and brilliant celebrations to the city. With just four weeks until the festivities kick off, the main events for 2023 promise to be unforgettable. The FABULOSO In The Park event, a two-day fundraiser for the Brighton Rainbow Fund, will feature performances by renowned artists such as Black Eyed Peas, STEPS, Zara Larsson, Mae Muller, Melanie C, Louise, and more.

This year's event aims to be the most inclusive and diverse yet, with over 150 LGBTQ+ artists and allies performing across 12 stages.

Brighton & Hove Pride, known as the UK's biggest Pride celebration, is committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and education within the community. The theme for this year's Pride celebration is "Dare To Be Different," putting the beautiful diversity of the LGBTQ+ community at the forefront. The Pride festivities include the LGBTQ+ Community Parade, the Pride Village Party, and the Pride Community Day & Dog Show.

The FABULOSO In The Park event will feature world-class artists across different stages, including a main stage with performances by Black Eyed Peas, Zara Larsson, Jax Jones, Confidence Man, and more. The event will also include the Gaydio Dance Tent, the Legends Cabaret Big Top, the Cocoa Butter Club stage, the DIVA Dance Tent, the Brüt Dance tent, and other tents and stages showcasing live music, cabaret, and community areas.

The Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade, taking place on August 5th, is a highlight of the Brighton & Hove Pride weekend. It showcases the city's charities, community groups, small businesses, emergency services, and statutory partners. The parade is a vibrant celebration of love, protest, and unity, and this year's theme of "Dare To Be Different" encourages participants to come together to remember, celebrate, and campaign.

The Pride Village Party, held in Brighton's Kemptown, brings businesses together to celebrate Pride and raise funds for the Brighton Rainbow Fund and Pride Social Impact Fund. The Pride Community Day & Dog Show, taking place on August 27th, is a beloved event that celebrates dogs and dog lovers, with various fun and entertaining activities, including a dog show judged by industry professionals and novelty classes.

Brighton & Hove Pride promises a summer filled with joy, inclusivity, and celebration, as the city comes alive with a vibrant display of love and unity. Don't miss out on these unforgettable events and join in the festivities.
