Girls Don't Sync are here to shake up the scene with the release of their electrifying debut single, “Come Thru,” on their freshly launched independent label, Fourmation Records. Released just in time for the first night of their “Fourmation” tour, this is a bold introduction to what the group has in store.
Consisting of Gaia, Hannah, Sophia, and Matty, the Girls Don’t Sync crew poured their hearts into this single, crafting a sound that captures the essence of classic garage and house while infusing it with a fresh twist that's unmistakably theirs. The creation process was a true team effort, with each member bringing unique elements to the mix. Gaia shares,
“Working together in the studio felt like one of our live sets - fast-paced, experimental, and totally us. When we hit those final touches, it was a unanimous ‘That’s it!’ moment. The magic of collaboration is what we live for.”
Sophia recalls the challenge of creating something entirely original, breaking away from their usual sample-heavy sound.
"The genre often leans on samples and remixes, so we took a big leap with this. But by drawing from different inspirations, we landed on a track that feels timeless and current."
And Matty points out that “Come Thru” isn’t just a song - it’s designed to be a dancefloor experience, packed with layers and elements that keep energy high and ravers on their toes.
With a driving beat, emotive piano lines, and an infectious vocal sample, “Come Thru” has all the makings of a classic. But what makes it even more special is its universal feel.
"We wanted this to be an open invitation," says Hannah, "something that any raver could connect with, young or old. It’s our way of celebrating the roots of the music we love and our vision of where it’s going."
This release on Fourmation Records is just the start for Girls Don't Sync. The group has big plans, and the sold-out dates on their “Fourmation” tour signal that fans are ready for it. With their debut single out and a tour kickstarting, the future is looking bright for these powerhouse DJs, and “Come Thru” is set to become the anthem of that journey.
