Holiday to Poland anyone? Awarded ‘Best major festival’ at the European Festival Awards 2024, Open’er Festival aims to trump last year's diverse lineup for something even bigger than the last. Originally founded in 2002 with its first festival hosted in Warsaw, Open’er has become one of the largest festivals in Poland.

For good reason too, as Best Rap Album Grammy winner Doechii alongside the pop powerhouse Lola Young have now joined the all star lineup. Claiming 2024 as hers, Doechii has thundered on stages and festivals round the world, performing tracks from her new album ‘Alligator Bites Don’t Heal’. Lola Young has also had her breakout year with the song ‘Messy’ from her sophomore project This Wasn’t Meant For You Anyway’, which reached dizzying heights on social media. Expect a hearty and soulful performance.
Other acts this year include the delicate musings of Gracie Abrams making her debut Open’er performance, the experimental trip-hop gods Massive Attack grace the main stage as well as industrial rockers Nine Inch Nails making their return. FKA Twigs will arrive in ethereal fashion with her new EUSEXUA live set, JPEGMAFIA will rattle heads with his distinct off-kilter noise rap and Raye’s magnifying vocals will be captivating festival goers at the Orange Main Stage.
Bored of the standard park settings of festivals? Open’er has you covered. Since 2006 its been hosted in Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport, being a former military base, which is not something everyone can say they’ve boogied in. Alongside 60 other acts yet to be announced, this festival is shaping up to be one of the biggest events of the year. Open’er takes place between July 2nd to July 5th.
With last years festival bringing in 150,000 attendees, don’t miss your chance to groove in the Baltic Coast in Gdynia. Take a look at the link below for tickets and more information.
