HOUSE OF PHARAOHS RESURRECT GRIME GLORY WITH "NEW ERA"

HOP
South London's formidable rap collective, House Of Pharaohs, have resurfaced from their individual pursuits to deliver a bone-chilling sonic experience with their latest single, "New Era."

Breaking their collective silence since the 2021 hit "Al Capone," this track is a sub-zero slice of grime, featuring none other than JME, who not only contributed to the production but also lent his distinctive mic prowess.

"New Era" showcases a departure from some of the collective's recent sounds, offering a raw and gritty ambience reminiscent of the hard-edged moments from their 2017 opus, Real Faces. Fans with a penchant for House Of Pharaohs' grimier side will undoubtedly revel in the intensity and authenticity of this new release.

Accompanying the track is a visually striking video directed by Elliot Simpson. The greyscale cinematography follows the collective through the urban sprawl, adding a dramatic layer to the sonic narrative. It's a cinematic feast that complements the fierce energy of "New Era" and underscores the collective's commitment to delivering a holistic auditory and visual experience.

In tandem with the release, House Of Pharaohs unveiled their plans for the future, encapsulated in the tagline 'Freedom For The Rebellious.' The statement hints at "New Era" being the inaugural offering from an upcoming project, signalling a revitalised phase for the collective.

With the promise that they've "got [their] house in order," fans can anticipate not only more music but also the prospect of exhilarating live shows. "New Era" is not just a comeback but a triumphant return to the roots of grime.
