Jeshi Drops ‘Hurricane,' A Chaotic Anthem with a Cataclysmic Visual Twist
Jeshi

Walthamstow’s very own Jeshi is back with a storm - literally. His new single "Hurricane" has just dropped, and it’s a whirlwind in more ways than one. From the rapid-fire lyrics to the chaotic energy coursing through both the track and its stunning video, Jeshi’s second single from his upcoming album is a powerful reminder of his knack for turning turbulence into art.

“Hurricane” is a fitting title for a song that plunges listeners into the emotional storm of life’s unpredictable highs and lows. Jeshi weaves his sharp verses around a pulsing beat, drawing you into the madness while giving you a taste of the thrill that comes with it. The track is both chaotic and exhilarating, with Jeshi admitting that while life’s ups and downs can be overwhelming, there’s a part of us that craves the chaos.

"We might pretend we don’t, but we love the chaos of it," he explains. "Being swept up by life, swept up by people we love, and wouldn’t have it any other way."

The track is accompanied by a visually striking music video directed by Uncanny, Jeshi’s collaborator from the Corteiz camp. The video throws Jeshi into the role of a frenzied weatherman on the edge, as he reports on a catastrophic storm that spirals out of control. Blending old-school TV clips with intense 3D visuals, the video captures the overwhelming flood of information and emotion we face daily - turning the end of the world into a mesmerising spectacle. Jeshi’s portrayal of the maniacal, storm-chasing weatherman perfectly complements the song’s themes, making it a must-watch.

With guest vocals from Leilah adding another layer of depth to the track, "Hurricane" is not just a song - it’s an experience. It follows Jeshi’s summer releases, "Total 90" and "Disconnect," building even more anticipation for his forthcoming second album.

Jeshi has been hinting at what’s next with a cryptic message: "2nd single. 2nd album." As he continues to stir up excitement, "Hurricane" proves that Jeshi is ready to embrace the chaos and take us all on the ride with him.
