KEYS THE PRINCE IS LIVING LIFE BEFORE IT’S GONE WITH NEW SINGLE ‘O TI LO’

After turning heads with his viral hit which had us all looking ‘Left Right’, now he wants our full attention before ‘O Ti Lo’ (It’s gone).

Everyone loves a good pop culture reference, especially one that pays homage to iconic hip-hop act Fat Joe. Keys is setting the tone for the rest of the two minute track paraphrasing the US rapper’s famous quote, “Yesterday’s price no be today.”

There’s a concoction of percussion, drum beats and effective “Ye-ea-ea-ah” background vocals which all create the base of this Afrofusion success. One stand out sound which really fleshes out this new single is the recurring horn loops which act like a pop of colour within this instrumental.

Keys adopted the ‘Taylor Swift effect’ with this single’s rollout, also known as wiping all his social media posts, something which many find is becoming outdated. However, when your song title translates to ‘It’s gone’, it’s very fitting.

This West London star may still be on the rise, but he’s already accomplished one feat on many artists’ bucket lists, getting the opportunity to perform for ‘A Colors Show’ back in 2023 for current release at the time, ‘OSHEY’.

Having achieved a few viral moments off the back of 2024 single ‘Left Right’, it comes as no surprise that after a quick scroll through the Keys’ X (Formerly Twitter) profile, he’s aiming to follow the trajectory of fellow West London performer who’s also no stranger to virality, Central Cee.
