Krept & Konan return with 'Low Vibrations', a euphoric celebration of positive energy and unity, setting the tone for their upcoming album 'Young Kingz II'.
Blending their signature sharp lyricism with a feel-good instrumental, underscoring their growth both as artists and as people. The track’s visuals, shot in Dubai, mirror the song's message, capturing moments of personal celebration including Krept's birthday, with close friends and family. Speaking about the single, the duo shared:
"'Low Vibrations' is about positive vibes only. We don't want anyone around us who doesn't match the same energy!"
The single builds momentum for 'Young Kingz II', a deeply personal follow-up to their breakout 2013 mixtape. Recorded mostly in Jamaica, the album honours their roots and evolution. Guest features include Popcaan, Sizzla, Oxlade, Chip, Potter Payper, Ghetts, Youngs Teflon, and even acting talents Michael Ward and Damson Idris. Konan’s father, reggae legend Delroy Wilson, is also sampled, adding a poignant layer to the project.
Beyond celebration, the album addresses themes like PTSD, therapy, fatherhood, and systemic injustice, weaving a powerful narrative of resilience. It promises to be their most introspective work yet, expanding on the raw honesty seen in Krept’s 'Nala’s Song' and Konan’s 'Delroy’s Son'.
The duo will celebrate the release with a sold-out headline show at Outernet London on 9 April 2025, marking another milestone in their influential career. From topping the charts with The Long Way Home and breaking records with 7 Days / 7 Nights, to becoming the first UK rap act to headline the O2 Arena, Krept & Konan continue to set the standard in British music.
'Young Kingz II' drops 7 February 2025, promising to cement their legacy as UK rap royalty.
