Releasing a month before his upcoming album, Lefto Ealry Bird gives us a teaser of what’s to come with the single “Electric."
Featuring Berlin’s spoken word artist Ain’t About Me, the synth-focused track is layered with dark and heavy bass. The delivery of AAM’s spoken words is meditative and captivating, once paired with Lefto’s elegant piano breakdown. Once asked about the release, Lefto explains
“Electric is about that feeling you get sometimes in the club, in a dark space, a rave, where anything can happen at any time. A place where the atmosphere can quickly switch, hence the switch in the middle of the song, it’s calm but also dramatic somehow.”
Lefto has gained popularity from his radio appearances, from The Lot and Kiosk Radio, to multiple appearances on NTS. With all these appearances, the Brussels-based DJ has been renowned for his great taste and multi-genre sets! From hip-hop and jazz to electronica and house or techno, Lefto can spin it all.
Famed for taking his crowd on this musical journey and blessing sound systems around the globe with regular gigs in Japan, South Korea, the US and Europe. Praised for being consistently ahead and not waiting for the next thing but making it; it’s no surprise to see the DJ world waiting for his forthcoming album “Motherless Father”, releasing March 8th.
