London’s LIDO festival continues to impress with further full day announcement of music with the likes of London Grammar, Roisin Murphy, Celeste, Pip Millet, The Blessed Madonna, and many others completing the lineup.
Taking place on Sunday 15th June, the festival announcement follows on from the previously announced multi-platinum-selling Jamie xx, who will be performing on the 7th June, OUTBREAK Fest, on the 13th June, and Charlie xcx’s own party girl festival on the 14th, completing a monumental weekend of music in the capital.
With major names already announced, LIDO Festival have lived up to the hype with the additions of The Blessed Madonna, Roisin Murphy, and highly anticipated headliners London Grammar, plus many others. Having taken a creative hiatus to write new material, London Grammar returned in 2021 with ‘Californian Soil’, a body of work that proved to be a pivotal moment in the band’s musical career. Moreover, their latest release ‘The Greatest Love’ marks further evolution in the band’s dynamics reflecting on their individual and collective growth as they respectively venture into motherhood and marriage. What’s more, further artists on the lineup include the likes of Pip Millettm who’s continual ascent seems utterly unstoppable, Maverick Sabre who’s cross-genre style blends reggae, rock, and folk, and Clementine Douglas who has recently been earmarked as a breakout star by many.
LIDO are developing a strong reputation for putting artists first and handing them control, for a festival programmed by the headliners, bringing their favourite artists, collaborators, newly tipped artists, and of course, their own style to each day.
