Following an incredible run of highly-acclaimed singles over the past few months, Matilda Mann has gone from strength to strength in every aspect of her career, recently being heralded as BBC Radio 1’s Future Star of the month and announcing her own UK & EU Headline tour beginning in April. Her debut album, ‘Roxwell’, is a testament to all of her recent achievements and the ever growing support she receives from her fans and the industry. This new batch of music further showcases Mann’s ability to blend folk-esc storytelling with an array of sonic elements; from indie rock to the beautifully crafted orchestral flair we’ve heard from her in the past. The album arrives hand-in-hand with latest single 'See you later', a feel-good love song with melodies you’d expect to hear from the likes of Clairo and Holly Humberstone.
“Some songs I wrote almost subconsciously, only realising their meaning later. It’s terrifying to put something so personal out there, but I’m incredibly proud of it and grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life.”

The album is the epitome of everything that Matilda Mann has been itching to say for the last few years, an homage to years of pencilling lyrics in her diary and playing demos over the kitchen speakers. There’s a gorgeous vulnerability and honesty that shines throughout the entire track list, from the jazz-laced tones of ‘At the End of the Day’ to the electrifying vibes of ‘Dazed & Confused’, Mann effortlessly dances between intimate reflection and euphoric release.
Now preparing for a 15 date UK & EU Headline tour that will take place from April through May, Mann is solidifying herself as a staple artist within an ever growing genre where live performance is just as essential as dazzling records, both of which Mann has already honed her talents in. Finishing the UK leg of the tour in the iconic KOKO in Camden, London; if you get the chance to see her live, her show is a definite must-watch for indie folk lovers.
2025 is already shaping up to be another incredible year of growth for Matilda and I speak for an ever growing group of listeners who can confidently say this album was all we hoped for and more.
