Hackney singer-songwriter Mychelle returns with, 'You Don’t Care About Me', alongside the exciting news that she’ll join Jorja Smith on the UK leg of her tour this year.

Produced by Tom Henry (one-third of Gotts Street Park), the track came to life during a studio session up north, one Mychelle almost missed after a last-minute train mishap. Her elegant songwriting creates a delicate push and pull, as her lyrics boldly declare she’s done wasting words and ready to move on. With a busy start to the year, including the recent release of 'Sweet Nothings', Mychelle is gearing up for an exciting summer, with performances at Across The Tracks and Mad Cool Festival in Madrid.
Born and raised in Stoke Newington, just a stone’s throw from Clissold Park, Mychelle grew up in a home filled with music. The middle of three sisters, all drawn to singing and performing, she picked up a guitar at age 10, only to set it aside until 17, when she found her way back to it.
Building on the new era embarked on with 'Sweet Nothings', Mychelle is providing a steady stream of heartfelt songwriting to her eagerly awaiting, and ever expanding fan base. 'You Don't Care About Me' is easy on the ear, as well as affecting to the soul. With an upcoming spot as Jorja Smith's support artist on her UK tour, all the stars seem to be aligning for Mychelle.
