Reading & Leeds Festival returns in 2025 with an electrifying lineup that’s destined to make waves. Taking place from August 21–24 across Richfield Avenue, Reading, and Bramham Park, Leeds, the festival welcomes a mix of exclusive performances and fresh talent, cementing its reputation as the UK’s premier summer music event.
Headlining the weekend are Travis Scott, Chappell Roan, Bring Me The Horizon, and Hozier, delivering a diverse array of musical experiences. For Travis Scott, this will be his only European festival appearance of 2025, bringing the chaos and creativity of his Utopia: Circus Maximus tour to the UK. Rising star Chappell Roan marks her English festival headline debut, following the acclaim of her The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess album.
Bring Me The Horizon, fresh off their celebrated Post Human: Nex Gen album will play their final European show of the campaign in what Oli Sykes promises to be "the greatest show of our careers." Meanwhile, Hozier rounds out the headliners with his soulful artistry, closing the chapter on his Unreal Unearth era.
The festival prides itself on exclusivity this year, with Travis Scott and Chappell Roan as festival-first appearances and UK exclusives for both Bring Me The Horizon and Hozier. Bloc Party will also debut an "Icon Slot," a new feature in the lineup designed to celebrate artists who have left a lasting impact on modern music.
Festival-goers can also look forward to a high-energy roster featuring AJ Tracey, Becky Hill, Enter Shikari, Conan Gray, Pale Waves, Amyl and the Sniffers, and The Dare. The lineup stretches across genres, ensuring something for everyone - from the indie rock vibes of The Kooks and Wunderhorse to the unfiltered energy of Lambrini Girls and Soft Play.
For Bring Me The Horizon, this headline slot feels particularly poignant. Oli Sykes shared his excitement:
"It’s our only UK performance next year and the final European show of the NEX GEN campaign before the band takes time away. If you want to see BMTH, this is your only chance. Can’t wait!"
Enter Shikari, festival veterans since 2007, are equally thrilled.
"We’ve set records for crowd surfers and sets played over the weekend. These will be our highest-ever slot on the bill and our only UK shows in 2025. Expect us to be like uncaged animals."
With an emphasis on emerging voices, the festival includes acts like Nieve Ella, Antony Szmierek, Sofia Isella, and Del Water Gap. Paired with established names like DJ EZ, Sea Girls, and Wallows, this year’s edition captures the energy of a new generation while celebrating the stalwarts of contemporary music. Managing Director Melvin Benn encapsulates the excitement:
This lineup is one of the youngest we’ve ever had, and it perfectly reflects the inspiring wave of voices breaking through in pop culture today. We’re bringing together iconic headliners and extraordinary new artists for what will be an unforgettable weekend."
Presales begin at 12 PM on December 6 for Three and Mastercard customers, followed by a festival presale on December 7. General tickets will be available from December 9.
With more names expected in the coming weeks, Reading & Leeds 2025 is shaping up to be a monumental event.
