Rose Gray continues to heat up the dance-pop scene with her latest single, Wet & Wild.
After lighting up the summer with hits like Free, Angel Of Satisfaction, and Switch, Gray is keeping the momentum going as she heads into 2025. Her highly anticipated debut album is set for release in January, and with ‘Wet & Wild’, she gives fans a tantalizing taste of what’s to come.
Crafted in New York alongside collaborator Sur Back (aka Caroline Sans), Wet & Wild channels the essence of Chicago house while drawing from Gray’s own experiences in London nightlife. Capturing the euphoria and abandon of a night out, brought to life through bold lyrics and irresistible acid-house synths. Recounting the inspiration behind the track, Gray explains,
“I left a club in a state of chaos, before long I was running through the streets of Soho and then it started to rain. It was warm rain. I was feeling wild, my Vivienne dress was soaked through. I was having a main character moment.”
From sharing the Glastonbury stage with Shygirl to launching her own East London club night - Rose Gray Selects - she has proven herself a powerful new voice in dance music.
Wet & Wild perfectly encapsulates her blend of nostalgic house beats and modern pop energy, and fans can expect more of this infectious sound when her album drops in January.
