SLOWTHAI IS RETURNING TO HIS ROOTS WITH HIS 'BEST NIGHT OF YOUR LIFE' TOUR

If we are honest, slowthai is a name you cant avoid since the announcement of his third studio album UGLY. To celebrate his third studio album slowthai is heading out on the road for his first headline shows in a year, just this time instead of playing sold-out shows at Brixton Academy, he's taking it back to basics and performing in local pubs.

Now for real fans of slowthai, this isn't something we are estranged to. Back in 2019, we saw slowthai perform at multiple pubs for this '99p tour' - which yes the tickets were actually 99p - and caused carnage in many back rooms of your typical pubs. Not one to be refined by the standard stereotypes it feels only right for him to go back to the roots that founded him. Taking a slight tweak in his music for the new album UGLY bringing his love of rock, indie and punk to the forefront, local pubs are where many fledgling bands cut their teeth on the live circuit - a vital stepping stone for many - so it's a way of paying homage.

Talking on the tour slowthai says;

“I make music for myself but I wouldn’t be where I am without my fans. It’s important to me that people can have access to me and my music so I wanted to go to some new places and play this album first. Times are tough for a lot of people and working with Jägermeister has helped me keep tickets to only a quid.”

'Best Night of Your Life' - UK Pub Tour in partnership with Jägermeister:

23/02 Independent - Sunderland 24/02 Bootleg Social - Blackpool 25/02 Craufurd Arms - Milton Keynes 01/03 The George Tavern - London 02/03 Moles Club - Bath 03/03 The Black Prince - Northampton

Returning to his old stomping ground of The Black Prince, Northampton for the final date of the tour on album release day it's sure to be a room packed full of carnage.

Will we see you on any of the tour dates?
