‘Call You’ delves deep into the complexities of forbidden love, lust, and the thrill of toxic relationships. Faith draws from her own life experiences, exploring the pain and disillusionment that arise from loving someone who lives a double life. The intoxicating dynamic leaves her feeling unfulfilled, captured perfectly in the chorus: “I'm not your only, don't need to pretend.”

Crafted in Fred Cox’s home studio in London, the track showcases the harmonious collaboration between Faith, Asante, and Cox, who serves as the track’s producer and executive producer for the upcoming EP. Together, they fuse R&B and Neo-Soul to create an enchanting duet that highlights the raw emotions both artists bring to the table.

‘Call You’ is Faith’s fourth single of the year, following ‘Freudian Slips,’ ‘Dopamine,’ and ‘Missing Me,’ generating heightened anticipation for her upcoming project. The song’s emotional depth is further emphasised by its poignant lyrics, as Faith and Asante face the harsh truth of their connection while grappling with their inability to stay apart: “It’s so hard to be just friends.”

‘Call You’ not only showcases Faith’s originality and passion for music but also represents a renewed chapter in her artistic journey. After navigating the highs and lows of her adult life and finding peace in the countryside, she continues to dedicate herself to her craft.

With the release of ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This,’ Sophie Faith proves once more that she is an artist worth investing in, capturing the true essence of artistry through her emotive storytelling and sound.
