Sophie Faith returns with ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’, a six-track EP that takes listeners on an intimate journey through her life in all its highs and lows.
Released under her label, Honey & Lemon Music, and executively produced by multi-instrumentalist Fred Cox, this project marks a transformative moment for Sophie. Each track serves as a snapshot of her late twenties, capturing wild nights, toxic relationships, and a newfound resilience built through ten months of sobriety.
Lead single ‘KOKO’ embodies the energy of this era, inspired by Sophie’s memories of wild nights out with friends at the iconic London venue. Reflecting on her journey, Sophie shared,
“I was fortunate to create this with amazing people I genuinely love and respect, including my favourite producers, Youth XL from LA and Fred Cox, who executive produced the whole thing."
Her words reflect the deeply personal nature of this project, and it’s clear that ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’ is not just an EP, but a testament to her growth.
Sophie’s story is one of resilience. Raised between Brighton and London, music became her lifeline as she navigated her mother’s battle with alcoholism, the loss of her father, and the challenges of ADHD. For years, she found herself in a whirlwind lifestyle across London, Amsterdam, LA, and Ibiza, but now she’s traded that for tranquillity in the countryside, embracing self-sufficiency and growing her own food. This lifestyle change has brought Sophie a renewed sense of purpose, both in her music and her life.
With ‘Hold My Drink, Watch This’, Sophie Faith offers a raw and honest exploration of her life. It’s a powerful project that reveals her growth, resilience, and undeniable talent - one that’s sure to resonate with fans in the UK and beyond.
