VICTORIA CONFRONTS SELF-DOUBT WITH NEW SINGLE ‘PITY PARTY’

Bulgarian alt-pop artist VICTORIA kicks off 2025 with ‘PITY PARTY’, a brutally honest track that tackles the inner critic - the voice that tells you you’re both too much and not enough.

Pairing introspective lyricism with her signature dark pop sound, the song balances vulnerability with an infectious melody, making it one of her most relatable releases to date.

Built on moody production and sharp hooks, ‘PITY PARTY’ dives into the emotional weight of self-doubt, turning internal battles into a cathartic, empowering listen.

“I wanted to create a song that many people could relate to,” VICTORIA explains. “Sharing my feelings with my team and transforming them into music was a powerful experience.”

With ‘PITY PARTY’, VICTORIA unveils a bold new image for 2025, continuing the sonic shift she began last year. 2024 marked a turning point with singles like ‘Paradox’ and ‘sad girl summer (not again)’, which leaned into a darker, more alternative sound. Remixes from producers like BKE, Liquidfive, and Tribbs pushed her music to new audiences, while her winter single ‘sad girl winter (again)’ wrapped up the year on a nostalgic note.

Best known internationally for her Eurovision 2020 entry ‘Tears Getting Sober’ - the pre-contest favourite before the event was cancelled - VICTORIA has since evolved into a more introspective and genre-pushing artist. Her debut EP a little dramatic (2021) blended ballads, dark pop, and experimental elements.

Now, with fresh music and a striking new aesthetic, VICTORIA is stepping into 2025 as an artist fully in control of her vision. ‘PITY PARTY’ isn’t just a song about self-doubt, it’s proof that she’s turning those struggles into something powerful.
