Vlossom, the brainchild of acclaimed Australian musician Alister Wright, has finally broken his two-year musical silence with the release of his latest single, "Burn3r".
Curated by Wright alongside the renowned Nick Littlemore, Vlossom has been known for pushing sonic boundaries within the Eora/Sydney music scene. Taken from his upcoming project, this project blends shoegaze and electronica into a unique multisensory experience. Now, with Wright steering the ship solo, Vlossom returns with a sharper vision that stays true to its futuristic roots.Reflecting a fresh direction in his musical journey, "Burn3r" symbolises redemption. It’s a DIY pop-rock hybrid infused with feel-good psychedelia, evoking the soundscapes of Toro Y Moi and George Clanton.
“This is a story of REDEMPTION. I got absolutely nailed over the last couple of years and I didn’t want to make music anymore,” Wright explains. “‘Burn3r’ was the soundtrack to my training montage while I was ripping dance moves in the garage. Now I want to share it with my friends so we can rip it together."
Since its inception in 2019, Vlossom has made waves with its debut EP *My Friend* in 2020 and a notable feature on "Lucky" with PNAU. Garnering acclaim for its suitably trippy and vibrant sound, Vlossom has cemented its place in the local music scene.
With "Burn3r," Vlossom reasserts their position as innovators in the music industry, delivering a powerful and personal anthem that promises to resonate with old fans and new listeners alike.
