London-based siblings Will Gao and Olivia Hardy, collectively known as Wasia Project, unveil their latest musical offering with the poignant single 'Takes Me Back Home', marking a significant step towards their highly anticipated EP 'Isotope'.

'Takes Me Back Home', is a soul-stirring ballad that delves into the themes of belonging and emotional connection. Olivia Hardy's velvety vocals take centre stage, weaving through a backdrop of gentle piano, subtle organ melodies, and sweeping strings that amplify the song's existential yearning. The track evolves beyond a simple love song, capturing the profound essence of finding solace and familiarity with another person, while also reflecting on broader concepts of personal identity and cultural heritage.

This release follows the success of their previous single 'Is This What Love Is?', a baroque-pop gem that has already become a fan favourite and set the stage for the artistic evolution showcased in their upcoming EP.

'Isotope' represents a culmination of the duo's five-year journey, where they have seamlessly merged their classical training with an adventurous spirit in jazz-pop.
